Our Turn

It was announced today that the marriage amendment will be on the ballot next November in our state. The republicans want it on next years ballot because our governor is up for reelection and they think they can get everyone riled up on the gay marriage issue and vote out the democrat.

Gretch and I discussed ways in which we could handle this situation as it gets closer and the media focuses on the debate. My prediction is it will pass 70 30.
I have already named it the hate amendment. I don't know if I am up for all that is going to be said. People can be really cruel sometimes. We are still thinking of ways to deal with this. It really sucks!
