Interesting little note on my yearly update from the powers that be at the social security office. It has a little disclaimer on it this time. It says that while it looks as if when I turn 65 I will have about 1000 dollars of income a month from all the money I put in over the years, by the year 2040 there will not be enough money to pay everyone. Basically social security will be dried up.
I also have been finding out at work, that the medical benefits that I have been receiving will not continue on the same level that I have come to depend on. We will need to pay more out of pocket soon.
I know, lets worry about who marries whom and we will solve this later. Ok?
