Had the first of several Christmas gatherings last night. G's mom's. Disastrous!
More tears, hurt feelings, etc... I felt bad, but there was not much to be done at the moment.
At least G was not the hurt one, but the person who tries to fix everything and make it better.
It didn't even involve the wicked stepmother.
